Thank you Roman. Your second method is always better. Like the mordant using kapur sirih. This is easily available in most Malaysian Melayu Kitchen :)

can you give tut on the process and sequence of eco printing pre botanically dyed fabric using symplocos powder as mordant ? also would we need mordanting step between finished botanically dyed fabric and eco printing for lightfastedness washfastedness colorfastedness etc? trying to make dark purple flower print on lighter purple botanically dyed fabric ty 🥹🥹
